Still a Modern Classic

This generation saw a 23 horsepower increase compared with the previous model. It can reach zero to 60 in just 3.2 seconds, with track speeds as fast as 191 miles per hour.
Faster Brakes
All that speed won’t mean anything without effective brakes to keep you safe on the road or the track. The 2020 model is the first of the 911s to have an electronic brake booster. This booster makes braking 10% quicker than the previous model. It is bundled with a trick lightweight brake-pedal, which eases weight by 41%. The rear spoiler assists deceleration by acting as an airbrake if needed.
Introducing Wet Mode
Driving in the pouring rain can be scary sometimes, especially if you have other passengers with you. The new 911 ensures stability in slippery roads with its “Wet Mode” feature. There are two acoustic sensors behind each front wheel of the 2020 911. These sensors are made to notify you to turn on “Wet Mode” when it detects rain splatter. Once this is activated, the whole system is adjusted to increase stability. The car will run slower, but you don’t have to fight the wheel to keep yourself safe.
Better Driver Assistance
One of the biggest leaps that the new 911 took is for its driver assistance technology. It’s the first in its line of models to feature sensors that make your driving experience safe. The 2020 911 has lane-keep assist to make sure you don’t swerve at the wrong time. It has a collision warning and avoidance system that warns you of an oncoming vehicle or impending impact. If you fail to respond, the car automatically punches the brakes for you. There is also a rear turn system and a night vision camera to help you with parking. For entertainment and vehicle control, there is a dash display with a touch panel in the middle of the dashboard.
