Hooligans of the Post Apocalypse

It’s not a proper Icon photoshoot until this happens. (And it always does.) The Roach and the Magnificent Bastard in action while shooting ‘No More Heroes’.

Reminds us of that scene in The Hunt for Red October - "Fly, Mag-Bas, Fly!"

The Roach's clutch lived up to it's name on this shoot. Luckily 2nd is a versatile gear.

For in the grim, dark, future there are only wheelies.

I’m a little sad because that VF1000 looked SOOOO nice in the before shots.

But – It’s a RULER in the after!!!

    So, I’m torn…..

    • @David – We absolutely agree. There’s a very strong desire to put the Bastard back into original(ish) trim. 80′s vintage Red, White, & Blue Hondas are the absolute business and always will be. Luckily there is a pristine ’89 Hurricane and a ’90 EZ Cub sitting in the Icon garage – so our RWB desires are somewhat sedated for now. But if anybody has a ’86 VF500 for sale….

  3. Since I’m a decade too late to be a child of the eighties, I have no reservations at all concerning the Magnificent Bastard’s (re)construction. To me, it’s just fucking awesome. The Roach is pretty cool too, trying to look like my Triumph with those high pipes.
